Since we showed you all how to make the ultimate mini diorama of the interior of your home, we figured, why not show you the ultimate outdoor space? And this is just the beginning stages...
Here is a list of what you will need to begin creating your outdoor space:
- 1 pack - Mini Materials' 32 pack of 1:12 scale cinder blocks with mortar (you will need 28 for this project)
- 1 dozen - Mini Materials' miniature 4x4 lumber (you will use 5 pieces)
- 1 set - Mini Materials' wood barrels
- miter box
- miter saw, or something sharp to cut down miniature 4x4 lumber
You will also want to use the mini bench blueprint to make the two benches. You can find the blueprint for the mini bench here.
Step 1:
Using 5 of the miniature 4x4s, mark each at 4". Cut down each with the miter saw and miter box.
Step 2:
You will now have (10) 4" pieces of miniature 4x4 lumber. Using the mini bench blueprint, make two of the benches. This will take (8) 1:12 scale cinder blocks, and the (10) 4x4s.
Step 3:
Using (12) of the remaining 1:12 scale cinder blocks and the 2 oz mortar, follow the photos above for instructions on how to build the miniature fire pit for the center.
Step 4:
Now you are all ready to put together your ultimate miniature outdoor patio!
